Hercesa celebrates 20 years in Romania with an institutional event in Bucharest

The meeting, of an institutional nature, served to review two decades of work in Romania and to reinforce the company’s commitment to projects that promote progress, sustainability and quality of life.

The ceremony was conducted by Mirela Cojocaru, director of the emblematic Hotel Cișmigiu, one of Hercesa’s most renowned projects in Bucharest after its comprehensive refurbishment.

The event was attended by the Spanish Ambassador to Romania, José Antonio Hernández Pérez-Solórzano, who underlined “the role of Hercesa as an example of solid business cooperation between Spain and Romania, generating employment, confidence and sustainable investment”. It also brought together representatives of the business and political fabric of Bucharest, as well as Hercesa’s management from Spain, in an atmosphere of celebration, recognition and commitment to the future.

Speaking for the company were Alejandro Solano, Managing Director of Hercesa International, who stressed “the importance of having built a relationship of mutual trust with Romania, based on commitment as the basis for the urban growth of the city”, and Romeo Ghica, Chief Operating Officer of Hercesa Romania.
The meeting was closed by Juan José Cercadillo, President of Hercesa:
“Twenty years ago we arrived in Romania with the illusion of growing beyond our borders, but always with the same values: work, seriousness and proximity. Today we are celebrating not only two decades of projects, but also two decades of trust, solid relationships and building a future together with local collaborators and our teams, a group of professionals who have made it possible for the company to continue growing steadily and with a vocation for permanence”.

Projects and milestones in the country

During the day, the main achievements of this period were reviewed, among them:

• Hotel Cișmigiu, owned by Hercesa and a symbol of heritage rehabilitation in the heart of Bucharest.
• Vivenda Residencias and Stellaris, residential developments with thousands of homes built according to criteria of sustainability and construction quality.

Economic and social impact

Throughout these two decades, Hercesa International has contributed to the development of Bucharest and its surroundings, generating hundreds of direct and indirect jobs linked to construction, services and real estate management, and promoting investments that strengthen the local business fabric.

50 years building the future

In the year of its 50th anniversary and with a presence in several countries, Hercesa reaffirms its global vocation and its commitment to Romania, where it has put down solid roots and will continue to develop projects that bring value to people and cities.
