Biodiversity

We take responsibility for protecting biodiversity by caring for the natural environment and minimizing the impact of our activities. We encourage the growth of native species in green spaces and promote good construction practices. A clear example is the Puerta Centro Ciudad del Transporte project, where we are protecting colonies of the endangered sand martin, monitoring their breeding and ensuring their return.

We work hand in hand with communities and governments because we know that biodiversity conservation is everyone’s responsibility. In each project, we build with purpose, respecting and caring for the environment for a more sustainable future.

In addition, when you buy your home, you become part of the Bee Hogar, supporting the reproductive apiary promoted by Hercesa and Fundación Amigos de las Abejas.
This project not only promotes the recovery of an area devastated by fires, but also contributes to pollination, favoring local biodiversity and promoting environmental sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Circular Economy

We promote the circular economy by optimizing the use of sustainable materials and recycling waste to transform it into new products.

At Hercesa, we are committed to increasing the valorization of waste in our plants and promoting the use of recycled resources. We implement Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) tools, reuse soil and debris, and select sustainable materials such as recycled aggregates and certified wood.

In this way, we work every day to contribute to a more responsible future, where each project reflects our commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment.

Climate Change

Climate change is one of the greatest global challenges, and at Hercesa we are committed to reducing our emissions and minimizing our environmental impact, in line with the European goal of climate neutrality by 2050.

We implement renewable energies such as aerothermal and photovoltaic, we carry out life cycle analyses to optimize resources and we have formed an alliance with Nedgia to promote biomethane in our developments. All with the aim of contributing to a more sustainable future, creating homes that make sense for the planet and for future generations.

Sustainable housing

“We specialize in designing sustainable homes that prioritize efficiency and the well-being of their occupants.
Through our STAR commitment, we ensure that all our developments incorporate sustainability measures and comply with international standards such as BREEAM.

Recently, we were awarded the “”Developer Award”” for El Viso Premium at the Schneider Electric 2023 Sustainability Impact Awards, a recognition of our focus on sustainable and efficient design.
