The association WIRES -Women in Real Estate Spain- has visited the residential development in Nueva Valdeluz in an institutional day organised together with Hercesa, Borma and Yebes Town Council. The meeting provided first-hand knowledge of the evolution of the project, its integration into the natural environment and the future growth areas of one of the most promising enclaves in the corridor between Guadalajara and Madrid.

The visit was led by the honorary president of WIRES, Cecilia Espinosa de los Monteros, and was attended by the mayor of Yebes, Enrique Quintana Erranz, representatives of the association and Hercesa executives, including its CEO, Juan José Cercadillo.

During the day, the attendees were taken on a guided tour of different strategic points of Nueva Valdeluz and the land that will form part of the next phases of the development. This visit provided an on-site insight into the scale of the project, its landscape integration and the infrastructures already in place in the area.

Nueva Valdeluz: nature, connectivity and quality of life

One of the highlights of the day was the natural value of the environment. The attendees visited the centenary oak tree of Valdeluz, a specimen of more than 15 metres high and more than 500 years old, which is part of the catalogue of singular trees of Yebes.

The tour continued through the Valdenazar Forest, a natural space of 40 hectares that acts as the green lung of Valdeluz and a climatic refuge. This enclave reinforces the identity of Nueva Valdeluz as a residential model linked to nature, daily wellbeing and a more peaceful and balanced way of life.

Nueva Valdeluz is thus consolidated as a lively residential area, with services, green areas, educational and sports facilities, high-speed railway connections and a stable community of residents. A new phase of urban growth is now being planned to respond to new residential demands.

A residential model designed for better living

The meeting also served to reflect on the transformation of the new metropolitan areas and the growing interest of families, professionals and buyers in residential environments that combine quality housing, nature, wellbeing and good connectivity.

In this sense, Nueva Valdeluz represents a residential alternative far from the saturation of the big cities, but fully connected to them. An environment where nature, time and quality of life take on a leading role.

The day concluded with a cocktail at the Montealvar Golf Club, where Juan José Cercadillo thanked WIRES for their visit and highlighted Hercesa’s identification with the values of the association:

“At Hercesa, 51% of our employees are women; therefore, we feel very identified with the purpose and spirit of WIRES, whose work is essential in the sector. We are very grateful to have been able to share this day to get to know Nueva Valdeluz and its surroundings”.

For his part, Enrique Quintana, mayor of Yebes, highlighted the identity of Nueva Valdeluz and the beauty of its surroundings:

“It has spaces not only designed for enjoyment, but also for wellbeing, with large green areas where sport, nature and coexistence go hand in hand”.

With projects such as Nueva Valdeluz, the area around Valdeluz and Yebes continues to position itself as one of the residential areas with the greatest capacity for growth and attraction in Castilla-La Mancha.
