Hercesa receives recognition at the XLIX Campiña de Fútbol Trophy
The historic match between Deportivo Guadalajara and Deportivo Marchamalo began on the 20th of August with the recognition of both teams for their constant support and work in favor of the sporting values of their common sponsor, Hercesa.
The “La Solana” stadium in Marchamalo was filled to the brim with enthusiastic supporters of both clubs, and witnessed an emotional match between two clubs that proudly wear the Hercesa brand on their shirts. Before the match, Juan Ángel Isidro and Alicia Alba, on behalf of Hercesa, received a plaque in recognition of the work of their company, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2025, presented by Rafael Esteban, the Mayor of Marchamalo, Rosana Solano, the Councillor for Sport of Marchamalo City Council, Carlos Ávila, the President of Club Deportivo Guadalajara, and Israel Sánchez, the President of Club Deportivo Marchamalo.
In the words of the two directors, “During these five decades, Hercesa has not only been an economic pillar in our region, but has also demonstrated its faithful commitment to sport and, in particular, to football in Guadalajara. Their support has been essential for the growth and development of the clubs in our province.
The match started with a 2-0 lead for Club Deportivo Guadalajara with goals from Neskes and Krehl in the first half. In the second half, Krehl scored his second goal and the Marchamalo team closed in with two penalty goals. The match ended with a 2-3 result for the Deportivo Guadalajara against the Club Deportivo Marchamalo.
