Hercesa will build and manage 156 affordable rental housing units
Hercesa has signed a public deed for the surface rights to build 156 affordable rental homes on two plots of 78 homes each.
The Mayoress of Guadalajara, Ana Guarinos, attended the signing ceremony on behalf of the City Council, while Luis Guijarro, General Manager, and Maribel Gil, Legal Director, attended on behalf of Hercesa.
This commitment allows Hercesa the use of the municipal land to build and manage the housing units for the next 75 years with a limited rental price.
The project will be financed by European funds for around 35% of the works, or 7 million euros between the two developments. This means that the rental price will be limited to 6.87 euros per square meter, when the average on the open market is 9 euros, thus giving families and young people the opportunity to obtain affordable housing.
