Hercesa, awarded the Business Merit Plaque on Province Day 2025: recognition of 50 years of history.

Hercesa has been distinguished with the Business Merit Plaque during the institutional act of the Province Day 2025, held in the Plenary Hall of the Guadalajara Provincial Council. The recognition highlights the company’s track record, its commitment to the territory and its contribution to the economic and social progress of the province.

An acknowledgement of collective effort and long-term vision

The award was presented by the president of the Guadalajara Provincial Council, José Luis Vega, in the presence of numerous authorities and representatives of the business and social fabric of the province. Hercesa, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, thus receives a recognition that symbolises five decades of constant work, innovation and commitment to sustainable growth.

During the event, the importance of Hercesa in the generation of employment and industrial development in the province was highlighted, as well as its key role in strategic projects such as Puerta Centro – Ciudad del Transporte or El Ruiseñor, which are benchmarks in the logistics and business field.

In the words of its president, Juan José Cercadillo, “this distinction is a source of pride for the entire Hercesa team. It represents the shared effort of hundreds of people who, for half a century, have believed in Guadalajara and have worked for its development. Receiving this recognition in the year of our 50th anniversary encourages us to continue building the future with the same enthusiasm with which we began”.
