The event, held in Guadalajara, was attended by Patricia Franco, Minister of Economy, Business and Employment of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha; Pedro Fernández, President of the National Construction Confederation; Juan José Cercadillo, President of the Hercesa Foundation; and Manuel Carmona, President of FERECO, among other institutional and business representatives.
During the meeting, the importance of collaboration between administrations, business associations and foundations to face the structural challenges of the sector was highlighted.
Work-linked training at the heart of the programme
Building a professional future is articulated through the contract for training in alternation, combining formal vocational training with paid work activity in companies in the sector.
A total of 16 people will participate in the programme, receiving during the whole training process 85% of the Minimum Interprofessional Wage, with a model that balances theoretical and practical training in real working environments.
The role of Fundación Hercesa in the initiative
Within the framework of the project, the Hercesa Foundation will teach the Certificate of Professionalism in Auxiliary operations in masonry and roofing, while the Construction Labour Foundation will develop the certificate in Auxiliary operations in continuous cladding in construction.
This collaboration reinforces Hercesa’s commitment to training, employability and the professionalisation of the construction sector, in line with its social vocation and its commitment to the development of local talent.
