At Hercesa, we like to do things well, with sense and professionalism. We have a Compliance System that establishes the ethical and moral principles that, beyond complying with current legislation, reflect the values that define us: a family based company with a handicraft spirit and a vision of the future. This system not only ensures our commitment to ethics, but also lays the foundations for a company that may turn 100 years old and beyond.

Our “éthica”
Hercesa incorporates an ‘h’ embedded in its particular ethos, with the intention of referring to the Greek term ‘ethikos’ and to the name of our company. In addition, we graphically highlight the ‘i’, symbolising our real estate sector (for the term in Spanish), which also reflects our identity and commitment to the values that guide our activity.
The motto of our Compliance System is “On the right path”, inspired by the tradition of pilgrims on the spiritual and cultural route to Santiago de Compostela. This phrase also reflects Hercesa’s focus on building in an ethical, responsible and sustainable manner, both in the projects we undertake and in the values that guide us, always setting the right course towards a future of integrity and commitment.

Ethical Code of Conduct
Our ethical code of conduct establishes the ethical and moral principles derived from current legislation and all the values inherent to a family-origin company with an artisanal spirit and a vision for the future. You can download it here.

A document that includes 20 basic rules of conduct that guide our activities to ensure compliance with the highest ethical and regulatory standards. This document reinforces Hercesa’s commitment to transparency, integrity and sustainability, ensuring that every action is aligned with our values.
Protocols
To prevent criminal offences, dealing with them in a specialised manner and including policies to prevent them.
Compliance and good governance report
That periodically verifies the degree of compliance with all the provisions of the Compliance system.
Hercesa’s ‘ethical’ principles
The ethical principles established by Hercesa in its Compliance System are essentially based on respect for the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and are as follows

- Promoting teamwork.
- Solidarity, transparency, objectivity, integrity, safety and continuous improvement.
- Fighting corruption, extortion and bribery, as well as policies against market abuse and in favour of good tax practices.

Ethical Channel
Hercesa makes its Ethical Channel available to all its working environment, customers, employees, external personnel, consultants, suppliers, interns and other collaborators. Through this channel, any issue related to compliance with the ethical rules and principles that guide our way of working can be addressed, either nominally or anonymously, through two channels:
Internal Reporting Channel”: through this channel, which is activated in Hercesa’s Internal Reporting System Management Procedure, unlawful conduct and criminal offenses can be reported. It is important to note that after-sales requests will not be dealt with through this channel.
Mail for questions and irregularities: This e-mail is intended for queries or situations that violate the ethical principles established in the Code of Ethical Conduct (page 27).
Hercesa extends its firm ethical commitment to all the countries in which it operates, ensuring that its principles are respected and promoted in every step we take.
