For the third year in a row, the social season tickets shows how Hercesa bets on sport and its human values, sharing experiences, in the matches held at the Pedro Escartín stadium and in their day to day, with all local social associations.

The presentation ceremony was a success and was attended by the project’s main actors, the representatives of the social institutions of Guadalajara that benefit from the Social Season Tickey, such as, among others, Ostomizados, ADABAL (Association for the Defense of People with Eating Disorders), ONCE (Spanish National Organization of the Blind), ASINCOPA, Las Encinas (integration of people with intellectual disabilities), Large Families, NIPACE (Children with Cerebral Palsy), DOWN, COCEMFE (Spanish Confederation of People with Physical and Organic Disabilities), ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), AFAGU (Association of Relatives of Alzheimer’s Patients), Cruz Blanca, ADACE (Association of Acquired Brain Injury), and ADISFIGU (Association of Physically Disabled Persons of Guadalajara).

It was a symbolic act which consisted in distributing the season tickets. After that, Hercesa’s managers and some of its members who are interested in social work delved into the relationship, as they visited the headquarters of the different social institutions to meet their members, their daily circumstances and their humanitarian missions. The social season tickets with which Hercesa collaborates allow the people of the company and the organizations to enjoy soccer matches on the field and forge friendships.
Carlos Ávila, president of Club Deportivo Guadalajara, took the floor to thank everyone for their presence, stressing that “Club Deportivo Guadalajara is Guadalajara’s heritage and the Pedro Escartín stadium is everyone’s home”. He added that more than 1,000 people from the associations enjoyed their free tickets last season and listed many of the social and cultural activities they carry out throughout the year, such as visits to schools and hospitals.
Juan José Cercadillo, CEO of Hercesa, as host, framed the support to the Guadalajara Sports Club and sports in general, in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the company, marked by the delivery of the 30,000th home to its owners. As a company from Guadalajara, he thanked the public institutions for their presence and support, and highlighted the company’s affinity with local events. He emphasized “the great human experiences that the Social Season Tickets bring to all the members of Hercesa who visit the headquarters”. He also wanted to congratulate Claudia Marcos Pardo and Chiqui Pardo as an outstanding soccer player of Club Deportivo Guadalajara (the former) and Hercesa worker and daughter of a worker (the latter).
Marco Antonio Campos, provincial head of sports and youth, emphasized that the associative movement brings society together, as demonstrated by all the recipients of the social season ticket, and pointed out that the Deportivo team is a source of pride for the entire province of Guadalajara.
Ángel Fernández, Regional Minister for Education, Culture and Sport of the Castile-La Mancha Regional Government, added that the “illusion” that Deportivo Guadalajara promotes on its website is the key to the club’s personal and professional success, where equality, inclusion, commitment and the ability to overcome are values that are transmitted to all schools in the province.
Ana Guarinos, Mayor of Guadalajara, closed the speeches by congratulating the Club on its 77th anniversary and acknowledging Hercesa for its collaboration with Deportivo Guadalajara. She emphasized the use of purple as a sign of identity of Guadalajara, showed the support of the City Council to the Club with its men’s and women’s teams that put into practice values such as competitiveness, ambition and enthusiasm in the work, for the enjoyment of its wonderful fans.
Finally, all those present wished the men’s and women’s teams good luck and sang the traditional “¡Aúpa Dépor!”
